Vaping is simply using an electronic device with a battery to vaporise a liquid that contains nicotine and flavour to simulate the act of smoking.

E-Liquid has 4 basic ingredients – Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Propylene Glycol (PG), Food-Grade flavouring, and Nicotine if desired (Available in various levels). All ingredients in quality E-Liquids are food and/or pharmaceutical grade. The nicotine is extracted from tobacco plants but contains no tobacco. The food-grade flavouring is where the safety concerns arise. The Digital Smoker carries ONLY E-Liquids that have passed lab testing and are Diacetyl-Free.

A “Vape” consists of 3 parts – the battery, the tank and the coil. The batteries are mostly Lithium-Ion, so they’ll last about 300 charges before you start to see the battery fading over time. You can get built-in batteries or removable batteries, depending on the device. The tank holds the E-Liquid and the coil. The coil is the engine of the device and takes the E-Liquid that’s soaked into the cotton wick and heats it up until it creates vapor.

  Nearly all E-cigs and their various accessories are made in China, but there is often a big difference in quality between the name brands and the knock-offs.  Reputable juice companies have their products independently tested. If a device is significantly cheaper than market average, it’s probably a knock-off.

The few reported incidents of vapes catching fire have come from older devices that did not have the modern safety features or from leaving loose vape batteries in a place where they could come in contact with other metals and short out, like a pocket or bag. Vape batteries are the same type you’d find in a laptop or power drill. They are not like your regular old AAs. They need to be kept in a case when not in the device.

On hardware, we offer a 7-day return/exchange due to manufacturer defect. Within 30 days, we will exchange for an identical device IF there are no signs of physical damage (scratches, dings, chips, paint wear, etc.) ANY sign of physical damage immediately cancels any warranty coverage from the manufacturers/distributors and will not be covered under our policies. There are NO returns on E-Liquids once the seal has been broken and/or the bottle has left the store. This is for Safety reasons. Exceptions will be made if there is a suspected manufacturer issue (flavouring is off, bottle does not open/function). ALL returns/exchanges MUST include all original packaging, parts, and receipt because that is what our suppliers demand of us. Staff reserve the right to test devices to replicate failures. This may include keeping the device overnight to confirm charging issues.
